Given all the rave reviews, I'd love to love them. I would like to read the ingredients more closely. In fact, it is the famous and heavily flavored petroleum jelly. Not sure how the Sephora smells and feels like many other reviews have mentioned (we don't have Sephora here), but the ones I got from Revain mostly smell like baby powder or scented disposable diapers. Glad to try this! The jar it arrived in was charming, as were the three separate jars. When they arrived it was evident that one or more had melted along the way. The rosebud spread all over the glass and the aroma was overwhelming. Cheap pink perfume mixed with baby powder? I didn't manage to open it at all, so I can't comment on the lip balm. I LOVE these lip balms. I have been buying this brand of lip products for over 8 years and they have always been reliable. The only problem is that sometimes the top cover gets stuck and you can never open it. This has happened to me a few times and in a case I bought recently the lid of the strawberry was completely crumpled and I don't think I'll ever be able to use a brand new product that really sucks. I usually buy strawberry flavored lip balm in a gold jar from Sephora and it remains one of my favorite lip balms to this day. However, their formula is completely different. Strawberry in a Gold Jar is thick but not creamy and luxurious like the ones I buy from Sephora. The other two, in white and blue jars, feel like petroleum jelly, only a little thicker. Last Christmas I got one of these lip balm jars as a Christmas present (Rosebud salve) - I was delighted that I bought this one Gift set for Christmas this year. I still love rosebud balm and have found that I really like the strawberry flavor too. Be careful buyer - I don't believe the product is genuine Rosebud salve. I purchased Ulta's Rosebud Balm and loved its consistency and ability to keep lips moisturized for a long time.
