It's designed to be used with screws that go through the front of the fan - most fans screw in from the back. Although the new case I bought uses screws going through the front to mount the front fans, the screws are not long enough and the longer screws are not included. So I couldn't use it. It had to be designed to snap onto the fan.

This is a good product and no beat for Rosewill. Actually, it probably has more to do with physics than anything else, but placing this screen and filter in front of a low powered DC computer fan almost stopped the airflow for me. I have Cooler Master JetFlo fans as I didn't want to leave anything to chance, at 120mm I don't know how much more power you can reasonably get without going nasty at cfm. Despite the decent concept, the overall design is rather poor. There is a screw on the cage, then the filter and back are snapped onto the cage. The problem is that while the cage is the correct size of 120 x 120, when you snap the back on it actually becomes 122 x 122, making it impossible to use with a fan tray. If you're running a single fan and just want to filter that one you should be fine, but otherwise you're out of luck. Also, only the cage has screw holes. It's about 3-4mm thick and…
