Strong metal/aluminium parts. A bit tricky to lock at different angles as the locking mechanism uses a twist knob to tighten. Perfect fit for my Samsung s21 ultra. Can not complain

Great item. Well built. BUT. It doesn't hold the phone well in a standard case. He slips. So I have to take the case off my phone EVERY time I want to use this thing. Aggravating.

The phone holder is made of very durable metal. I like twist, twist and grip locks. Very easy to use. My favorite part is the holes in the screen that allow you to expand your setup with additional accessories.

This is a very good, versatile and robust machine with one exception. It has a small lever that unlocks the phone's rotate function (from landscape to portrait). The problem is that this little piece is made of flimsy metal or plastic and is almost guaranteed to break. Because of this, I don't risk using this feature as long as I leave the mount. Heavy duty all metal die cast and machined. Excellent quality. all functions, I mean ALL of them are just plus plus plus. There are even cold shoes for accessories. The photo shows a laser pointer for night photography. The hinged base plate with two mounting holes for different screws is very appreciated. I actually liked it so much that I ordered another one. Very strong product. I have an iPhone 7plus with an Otterbox which is too big for most mounts but this one fits really well. I would recommend buying one, especially if your current tripod has a cheap mount. I bought a small tripod with a flexible extension leg. Well made, many features, but one drawback, especially for large cell phones like the Samsung S20 FE in the Unicorn Beetle Pro cell phone case from Supcase. The bottom line is that the HANDS holding the phone in place ARE NOT ENOUGH to secure phones in thicker cases.
