The quality of this jacket exceeds the price I paid. But it is not suitable for the warmer winter climate in the south. It is voluminous due to the additional down or synthetic filling. It may seem ridiculous, but this season I've seen coats in department stores that seem less bulky and clunky.

I bought this jacket for my 14 year old son. He hated the first jacket I bought him because it was one of those layered jackets (2-in-1) and the sleeves kept being rolled up. This jacket has none of those problems! Dressing and undressing for children with disabilities or easy dressing and undressing of jackets is very easy. Oh best of all, the price was fantastic! Makes up for the other jacket he hated! Very very happy with this jacket.

I clicked on the sizing link and it said the average size is 12/14 so I ordered this. My son wears a size 10 but he has outgrown this size so I went for a 12/14. However, when the jacket arrived it was a size 10/12. It still fits him, but I'm not sure we'll last two winters with it because of the length of the sleeve.
