🐶 Optimized Small Puppy Dry Dog Food by Royal Canin Review

Recently switched to this dog food and my puppy loves it, he looks much more energetic and happy and his faeces no longer smells, it's heavy and easy to to fetch. I also noticed that he doesn't have that horrible red mark on his eyes anymore that he's a Maltipoo. Plus, it tastes so good that I use it as a training treat.

I bought this as an uneducated pet owner after learning that Royal Canine uses corn as the main ingredient. My 16 week old Frenchie had a series of vomits and ended up in a vet clinic. Switched to another brand that doesn't use much as the main ingredient. Now she is much better. Therefore, the price of the Royal Canin is overpriced and not what it is advertised as. Please do your homework folks.

My new French Bulldog puppy was sent home by the breeder with a small bag of Fromm dog food. He didn't seem to enjoy it and was constantly gasping horribly. My vet made me switch him to Royal Canin and WOW what is the difference. No more petrol. No more dry pimples on the skin. Also, he loves it, no more problems getting him to eat. I actually had to buy one of those feeders with a cone in the middle to make it slow down! Highly recommended!

THIS PRODUCT CANNOT BE RETURNED! My 13 month old Chihuahua has been eating Royal Cane Chihuahua puppy food since weaning with no problems; only fed this product twice a day for a few days and immediately his stools were copious, all green in color, although he liked the product he later gagged and vomited and scratched his butt all night last night; I'm scared to continue eating solids, this expensive food will go to waste, I definitely don't recommend it!

Rice! This is the main ingredient. And eat. And gluten. Terribly expensive for terrible ingredients. I only got it to slowly change my two puppies. I wouldn't feed this to a dog. where's the meat Where's the safe veg? I wouldn't let my dogs on it if you paid me. I was shocked when I read the contents of the puppy package I received. Our Jack Russell puppy has been fed Royal Canin puppy food as recommended by our vet for almost a year. She was fine down to the last bag. Not sure what changed or if we got a bad bag but she developed severe diarrhea and vomiting. Thinking she might have caught a bug, we called the vet and checked the stool sample. Royal Canin puppy food is an excellent product. However, I had some issues with the 13 pound bag. When I opened the bag a few flies flew out, I reported this to Revain and received a replacement bag with expedited shipping. The food looks different than the one in the small bag, my dog has had soft poo since he started eating it. Although the ingredients are the same, the large pouch has a logo on one side, which likely means the large pouch is made in a different facility where quality control

The transition from the starter look to this one was very easy, my pup loves it and I can even use it as a training treat! UPDATE: Because she loves it, I bought a bigger bag. Both of my dogs loved Royal Canin until they changed the recipe! In the last 3 months, more than 70 complaints have been received by consumer protection! I wish I had known that before buying! Both dogs won't touch it, I ordered the puppy this review is based on and my older dog always tries to eat it when the puppy smells it and leaves. the dog who is 3 years old got up, sniffed and left.
