After a few weeks, rust spots appeared on the underside. I couldn't get it back in time so it's on me. I just thought you should know. This is a no star review.

Looks good, whistles quite well but a bit difficult to pour and pour out. The little button you press to open the lid on the spout is not easy to use.

Beautiful kettle. Holds plenty of water and whistles when the water boils. My kettle handle feels warm after boiling water; It's not cool, but it's not hot either. The handle, which requires a squeeze to open and close the top, works well in either cold or boiling water, or any temperature in between. I highly recommend this product and will buy again if I need a different kettle.

After reading some negative reviews I was hesitant to buy. Do not worry about it; Here's why: On my electric stove, water heats up quickly using the largest, high-wattage burner. I particularly like the hold-open function. No problem with the vapor burning my hand and it pours easily. It's stainless steel so I'm not sure how it will ever rust. Filling with water is easily possible via the open spout, so that the lid does not have to be removed. The whistle isn't that loud, but it's very high…
