🎾 Babolat RPM Blast Tennis String (12m) - Unleashing Power and Control on the Court Review

Excellent strings for top spin players. Unfortunately a bit expensive. A cheaper Völkl string of the same quality is the smarter choice.

I have a rating of 4.5 and play both singles and doubles 2-3 times a week. Above all, this string is very strong and offers excellent topspin. I have a tensioner and put 55 lbs on the strings.

These poly strings give you amazing spin and when a higher tension string gives you good control. However, I have to say that the string doesn't hold the tension, after 10 hours of play the tension of the racquet has decreased significantly. Not recommended for hand problems.

I play 4.0-4.5 and play about 4 times a week. I've been using Luxillon Alu Power for a long time, but decided to try these strings. The Power Alu strings are great but I feel like I have more control and feel with them. They have a bit more bite and I've found that more balls fall into them. I would recommend these strings to anyone who already has a powerful swing and is looking for more control.

Changed my game. I'm a hard hitter with heavy topspin. I used to play big bangers at 60 pounds; Whenever I tried to release the pressure, my shots would fly away. I just tried the RPM Blast at 50 pounds and my shots drop FAR below baseline. It took several days to adjust - many innings went into the net. But now that I've adjusted, I can hit tighter angles and hit even faster. Another cool effect is that my shots now have a lot more spin and the ball actually bounces when it hits the ground…

I used the Babolat RPM Blast 16 as a hybrid setup for me and my son's racquet, which hits harder. I think the hybrid setup is ideal for me as I'm prone to hand injuries. A few years ago I was at an open tennis tournament and spoke to Technifibre as they string for professionals and do not recommend anyone under the age of 18 to use full polypropylene strings all the time.
