Plastic Handle - Kitchen Utensils and Gadgets

I bought this assuming it was 18/8 stainless steel. The handle is very light and made of plastic. First impression - ah. I can guarantee that the spacer will detach from the plastic handle fairly soon. This product should not be found anywhere outside of a dollar store.

Pros
  • Useful for more than its intended purpose
Cons
  • Thin

Great spread - Cheese Tools

I had an old wooden handled spread that got a lot of use and eventually broke. So far this new metal knife has been very comfortable to use and very sharp so there will be no problem cutting the sandwich. Very easy to clean, but be careful of the jagged edges, they're pretty sharp!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • sad packaging

A well-made spreader gets the job done.

I was surprised at the overall size of this spreader, the blade is 1.5" wide and 3.5" long with a serrated edge 1 1/2" long and blade size 7 3/". Total length 4 inches. The circumference of the handle gives good control when using the shaker to make my favorite PB&J sandwich, yes, crunchy peanut butter. I will be replacing all my cutlery knives with these!

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Lightly dented

Absolutely no rust Good for cheese tools

Excellent in every way. The main thing is that it doesn't rust! It has a handy serrated edge on one side that handles even very frozen butter and is great for spreading butter and cheese! It's the perfect weight and balance to feel like any good shaker! Also, I need a few more to serve up cheeseboards for events and they will do the scattering work that lighter and cheaper models are currently using! Glad I found these!

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Quality, light weight

I love these butter knives! I used Pampered Chef butter knives but one of the handles broke so I looked for something similar. I'm really happy with my new purchase. I think they're a bit pricey, but I still really like them. I remember seeing a review where someone said they bend easily. My answer to that is that they are made for normal kitchen use and will not bend unless a person puts undue pressure on them.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

What you see is what you get

I've been using this for over a month and I like my old (rubber grip) spreader better. It's too hard and the sharp part is too sharp. So 3 stars (but the quality is 5 stars). The handle is hollow (as you'd expect); It's substantial and sturdy (it doesn't feel cheap). The jagged area is too sharp for a spreader, so I have to go at it like a sharp knife. And I would have preferred small prongs (or none at all) because the big ones tend to dig into the toast (why make extra crumbs). And I don'tโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Long delivery time
