Large capacity attractive compost bin

I loved this compost bin from the moment it came out of the box! It replaced a family heirloom, a plastic model from the 1950s. He's seen better days. What I like about this new one is that it's deeper and takes up less space in the sink. just love it! It holds a lot of food, so when preparing a large dish, all or most of the food can be stored. We are one big cooking composting family. And we can all agree that little compost bin in the sink is the ticket!

Perfect solution for our needs

Perfect for fitting into the corner of a stainless steel sink to strain out the leftover food which I now put in the stainless steel compost bin I found here at Revain. We decided to ditch the garbage disposal after a recent (expensive) plumbing job because it's a mid-century house and pipes just aren't meant for food waste. Additionally, when you find yourself sending your trash to your local sewage treatment plant, you also understand why your water and sewage bills always seem to be…

We have always used the corner basket in our kitchen sink for cleaning and trimming while cooking. We've used a plastic basket for years, but have found that cleaning is becoming increasingly difficult and leaves stains on the plastic. This stainless steel basket is a delight both by hand and in the dishwasher. It can even be used as a small colander. My only gripe is that while the sides are sturdy stainless steel, the bottom is thinner and flexes a bit for some reason. Only time will tell if…

Use it more than I thought!

This corner strainer is better than I expected. I bought it so we can scrape food off our plates; The pieces are caught and the liquid drains. Then throw away the leftovers. But I use it for so much more. I keep my sponge in it. After cutting vegetables, fruits and meat, I stuff unnecessary things there so that they are easier to clean. When I've used my chef's knives, I keep them here until I'm ready to wash and put them away. When I wash dishes, I just toss them around, rinse them off and put
