Espresso Close Fit

This product is VERY DURABLE AND VERY EASY TO CLEAN. Be careful though as it barely fits in my ground espresso holder. It may not fit all vehicles. WHY make it so damn big on both ends? Since either side can be used, it really needs a redesign on the smaller end! SPECIAL as the vast majority of users will be pro espresso. it just makes no sense! But that's a lot, assuming the price doesn't go up like most items I've bought from Revain seem to have been made over the years.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Long Wait

Suitable for Delonghi EC680

I'm new to the domestic espresso world. I have a Delonghi EC680 (which I really like!) but it comes with a cheap plastic double ended coffee spoon. I think it helped, but this one works much better. The smaller side fits perfectly and the larger side is nice and easy to grab when ramming the espresso. As for the price, I just don't understand why Delonghi didn't put something like this in his car at all. I hand washed only, just rinse and dry.

Great little gadget

Bought this for my husband to take his espresso machine with him for Christmas. He likes it a lot because the espresso machine had a plastic spoon on one end. It fits perfectly and is easy to wash, in fact I think he just wipes it down because it's so easy to clean. It's a different size on each end, I assume it will be universal for different machines. If you're buying a new machine, I highly recommend getting one as it's made out of stainless steel, not plastic. Buy it even if you're not…

Much better in the past

I bought this product 3 years ago and I love it. I recently moved to a new place and couldn't find it so I bought another one. But I was surprised because it's absolutely not what I've been using for 3 years. The material is completely different. This one is made from a much cheaper material and much lighter than the one I had. The tamper must be heavy so that its own weight can make it easier to press the coffee. In addition, as you can see in the image, there is a pop-up line that clearly…

Useful, understated

No, it's not about beauty, but some of the arguments here are reminiscent of the American psycho scene about who has the best calling card. These are not decorations; it is a ramming tool. This is aluminum. Yes, it has modest pouring seams. (I understand how annoying they could be if they were big and not to diameter spec, but my seams are very modest). If you want it to stay silver, don't wash it in the dishwasher. As your grandmother will tell you, it will make him gray and strange. The pros…

It s cheap. It works. It's almost good enough.

Well you get what you pay for. This tamper is just wobbly. The rammer surfaces are not flat at all and have quite large casting marks that can be felt by hand. I think the trail is pretty close to the circle. The chrome finish looks quite nice from a distance. It oscillates on a flat surface. But you know, it doesn't matter. His . Durable aluminum distributor. It works. And it's very, very cheap. Maybe that's what you're looking for. This is a really good product at a great price if you…

Works perfectly! No problem!

I ordered this with my De'Longhi EC155. I'm glad I did. De'Longi's built-in plastic "tamper" might level the floor, but it's nearly impossible to fake. It's permanently attached to the car, so you have to push the basket against it with the right amount of force (40 pounds, according to some) without tipping the car over. Instead, I used this tamper last. five months and it works great. Others have complained of the plating peeling off, revealing matte, cheaper metal. I didn't have a scrub. I…
