Makes programming my Kenwood TM-V71A easier. I leave the cable attached to the radio and hidden behind the dash. If I want to change a program I just put all the numbers in my laptop and then run it and plug it in. I've found that you can lose some of your PL tones if you're not careful when changing frequencies. I'm not sure if this is a bug or a user error.
