I did a head-to-head comparison of two brand-new 10 ounce lowball stainless steel cups; one from YETI and the other from RTIC. Now that knockoff Yetis are everywhere, I've stocked up on all kinds of brands and sizes.and this is definitely my least favorite. It just doesn't seem to insulate as well as the other ones, since ice melts surprisingly fast and this is the only one I have where you can feel the cold on the outside of the cup. Love this product! I use it every day at work. Our office is always cold and my coffee gets cold quickly and you have to keep putting it in the microwave. This cup keeps it hot for hours! Lovd it!

Keeps drinks at the right temp for hours not minutes . Drink temp will not transfer and damage furniture. No need for trivets. I still am buying these for my uninformed Nettie friends. Wide top means "easy to clean” Drop it on the floor with spilling- leak proof!

I did not think that this little cup would keep ice from melting for very long. So, the day I received it, I filled it with ice cubes from my freezer at 2:00 p.m. and let it sit on the kitchen counter until 7:00 a.m. the next morning. Only half of the ice had melted. I am really impressed and I cleaned it and poured my coffee into it. It stayed hot for over an hour when I finished it. Very well satisfied. I think my wife will now want one!

Purchased this for my camping needs and that worked out great for both water, jack & coke and coffee. I soon realized that with an 8 pack, I could replace my glasses and coffee mugs at home in a single step. minus the dad mugs. Extremely easy to clean with my bear's claws and lids are great to prevent spills and keeping debris out when working in the shop.

Let me say first, that I LOVE my 20 & 30oz. Rtic cooler cups! The 10oz are a bit of a dissapointment. They are a great size, but don't do the job the big ones do. I filled one with coffee, and took it to work on a warm day. It stayed hot for about 20 minutes, warm for an hour. In two hours, it was room temp or lower. Styrofoam cups perform better! I have filled it with ice water at night, put it on my nightstand, in the morning, no ice left, it was merely cool water.The 20/30 oz models keep ice

Good price on a "yeti" look-a-like. Cup is well made and helps keep the ice from melting so fast. Lid is OK for keeping it cooler for longer, but the pop-up that would allow you to drink from the cup with the lid in place is awkward and would (if you used it) stick up your snout. I guess you could use a straw.

Keeps my coffee hot for a while. The biggest downside for me is that the coffee seems to not flow smoothly out of the opening (maybe surface tension of the liquid vs the hole size/material?). This almost causes you to have to really slowly drink from it, adjust the angle you drink from, or tip it far enough that it breaks the surface tension (?) but with hot coffee the last one isn't smart.still looking around for other options.

I rarely review items purchased but this mug really stands out. I use this for coffee on the weekend mornings, scotch with a few cubes of ice at night, beer during the day.it just works. The cup is so well insulated I don't even need to use frozen stainless cubes in the scotch to prevent dilution, the ice never melts. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this purchase. I bought to press into with my aeropress and it works well for that. Does a pretty good job of keeping my coffee warm, though nothing amazing. Deducted a star for the mediocre lid fit - it is slightly off and coffee tends to get around the rubber gasket. Definitely not a spill proof lid; I'm still looking for one I'm happy with.

First of all, it does not keep the hot drink for 6 hours, as it has been posted. For me, it is more like less than 2 hours with open the lid two times in the duration.The lid is extremely difficult to open. One would risk spilling hot liquid trying to open it to pour out liquid.And why would one needs to open the lid to open? This makes my third RTIC container. I like the size, grip and storage amount. This lowball seems not to hold the "ice" as long as the larger highball and my 64 ounce growler type (the accompanying sticker stated that the lowball keeps ice for 24 hours; yet, I have not found that to be accurate).
