I see a lot of negative reviews mentioning this leak but I think these reviewers were trying to use this for thin liquids like juice. I use this and the smaller version for pancake batter, dos and idli batter. He's perfect for that. I simply pour/squeeze the amount needed until almost empty, then remove the lid and scrape off the leftovers. Does not leak, durable and easy to clean. It fits in the door of my fridge as well as all the shelves except the bottom one and doesn't take up much space.

This is the second one I have bought. I've had the first one for several years and finally the connecting strap to the top cap broke. It's still serviceable, but it's quite frustrating having to put that little piece of lid up and down all the time. To clean, I simply add some DW detergent to water and shake, then remove the top and wash separately. As for durability - it's not bulletproof, but strong enough for my purposes. I like this jug. I like its shape - it's taller and thinner than jugs of the same size, it has flat sides so it fits in my tight fridge very well. Dropped once half full about 3 feet as the title says. It cracked in the corner and dripped all over the floor. I thought it was bad luck and bought another one. A few weeks later I accidentally knocked it over, again half full, from about 4 feet. Exactly the same result. call me clumsy; Industrial fair.
