🚫 14 Gallon Capacity Rubbermaid Commercial FG9S3000WHT Review

We bought several of these items to pack our heavy and fragile items (china etc.). Almost all are torn during stacking and transport, especially the tops. We've also bought containers (black with a yellow lid) from BJs and Costco each for a third of the price (which were also slightly larger) and all have held up well in transit without cracking. Very disappointed!

The dimensions listed on the Revain page are extremely large, essentially the size of a box that will fit in this case, but the internal dimensions are only a fraction of that. After reading all the reviews I was quite satisfied that the measurements would be more than enough for my application. I should have paid more attention! This is not the commercial or industrial quality from Rubbermaid that I expected. In fact, I think I could buy 4 bags of comparable quality from Target for the same money. The most amazing thing about this bag is the lid. If I hadn't just looked and read the reviews from people who complained about this I would have thought they sent me the wrong cap. I bought three of these bags to store extra stuff. I bought this partly because of the exterior design. It looks simple, solid and well built. I thought it would go well with a white kitchen and it does, but it doesn't save much. Take a moment to look at the design in the product photo. See the side corners sticking out a bit and the top cover cut through? While these things look good, they change the internal memory structure. UPDATE 10/18/2015 at 8:08 am After a few months of use I have found that these sides can and will break when filled with heavy objects. For example, I have large baskets filled with paper in different ways (two full packs, blank notepads, notepads); Computer equipment and electronics (small hard drives, wires and cables, etc.) and stationery. I stacked three on top of each other and loaded them onto a handcart. Walking down the stairs with handcart bags (slight jerking), I found that one of the
