Love These Things - Kitchen & Dining

I don't use them in the microwave but I use them in the freezer, fridge and pantry. They last a long time and I like that they fold well. I've been using them for probably 15 years and I've bought more because they're always in use.

Pros
  • Many Fit
Cons
  • Repair

Misleading photo: fake caps

I bought this item specifically because it goes with my existing set. But when I received the lids they were dated and didn't match the rest of my set. They work? Yes. Is this what I thought I ordered based on the photos? no

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Durable and easy to use

I am adding a Rubbermaid kit that I bought a few years ago. I just love them, much better than the soft plastic containers of the past. The lids are easy to put on and take off, they won't leak or come off even if they fall on the floor. I also like how the lids snap open for storage. Will get 9 cups next time.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Exchange Availability

Tops are difficult to put on and take off

I had trouble putting on and taking off tops. If you suffer from arthritis or hand weakness due to some other problem, this may not be the best choice. A few years ago I bought a lot of these low quality plastic containers. These tops were much easier to use. Over the years some of the containers have cracked so I threw them away. But I still have the tops that I'll probably use, not the tops that came with them.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • I will add later

Great for reheating in the microwave in a storage dish

I've microwaved pretty much everything in them and they hold up really well and don't stain. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because I have some of the older ones with red and blue caps - the other caps just fit tighter and better in my opinion. I wouldn't pack them loose and expect them not to leak. They must be vertical and stable. Of course, that's fine if they're primarily used for storage in your fridge and you're not going to carry them in a flip-top lunch bag.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • It's ok

STAIN RESISTANT - PERFECT SIZE

I had one of these in the kit but it ended up snapping so I had to throw it away. However, it was such a perfect size for the microwave that I was delighted to be able to purchase this set of 4 in the same size, rather than buying a whole new set of different sizes just to get one of those smaller dishes , z 1.25 cups. Ideal for products that contain oils or fats or that may contain stains. Conventional microwaveable plates of this size are not microwaveable - heated oils and fats destroy them.

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

Lid YUGE! in container sets

I was looking for new plastic lunch containers to replace my Pyrex jar. I've used round containers for 1 and 2 cups, but when I need more than 2 containers it gets heavy. As much as I wanted to add more plastic to the world, I had to resort to finding something in plastic. A friend recommended these to me so I'm sure they'll do the job, but the lids were too big to fit multiple containers in my lunch box. I love my lunch box and didn't want to buy a new one because of these containers (looks…
