🔧 Optimized Small Control Arm Tool by Rubicon Express RE3771 Review

The tool disassembled the connection. However, I couldn't get the ratchet into the hole. It wasn't made well enough to match. So I had to use an adjustable wrench to turn this tool.

Worth the money, uses it on a stun gun and makes RE1660 rail maintenance easier. Well worth the money and a must have if you own/service or need to retorque your Rubicon Express Small Flex Couplings.

Firstly it didn't go all the way into the ring holes so I couldn't even tighten the ring properly so I returned the bushings because I couldn't install it properly Tool sent back randomly with bushings. And finally returned, but now stuck with this useless tool that's no good.

It will work fine but it turned out to be rusty and looks like it could be ordered, used and returned but it was sold at a normal price and was not a warehouse business. I wouldn't care if I saved a few bucks, but the fact that it had to be new is a little annoying. An invaluable tool for quick maintenance of Rubicon flexible links. I also have a larger tool, but I have never needed a smaller tool for smaller links before.

If you have RE joints, do yourself a favor and get one as soon as possible. I've worked with RE fasteners for years and have struggled to tighten the fasteners any way I could think of other than buying a tool. Now that I have the tool, I realize how stupid it was to get something to work. With this tool, regular adjustments become easy and effective. The only problem is that you still have to access the connection to tighten it. It's part of the joint design, not a tool.
