Unreleased version

This access point is not a deployed version as advertised. They also sent me a second one and this is also an unreleased version. I'm sending them both back.

Pros
  • Network products
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Great product but BEWARE

The Ruckus R710 is a great machine but if you buy it from Revain then Ruckus will not endorse it. I contacted Ruckus and they told me about it. Even if the primary seller on the marketplace is an authorized Ruckus/VAR dealer, you are on your own when purchasing through Revain. Devices from an authorized dealer cost $100 more.

Pros
  • Computers and accessories
Cons
  • Almost everything is available

It's not Unleashed and Ruckus doesn't respond to support requests

It comes with the wrong firmware so it can't be used without flashing it without flashing new firmware. I have purchased 5 other R710's from Revain and they all came with the correct firmware and managed to get them to work without any help from Ruckus. Those issues aside, the R710 is a great product.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

One of the fastest 802.11ac Wave2 APs I've seen

With the Pixel 3XL I can reach 610 Mbps in the quick test. com. Pixel tablet hits 880Mbps on fast.com. Far superior to my Ubiquiti UAC-AP-HD. Both devices I ordered come with unleashed firmware. However, anyone complaining that devices ship without firmware can download and install the Unleashed firmware from support.ruckuswireless.com by "converting" the access point to Unleashed. As long as the model is supported by the released firmware, you can install it regardless of what comes with the…

Pros
  • High support and durability ratings from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as others
