Rugged Ridge 12975.11 Black Cargo Floor Liner 🚙 for 1976-1986 Jeep CJ-7, 1987-1995 Wrangler, and 1997-2006 Wrangler TJ/LJ Review

It was the right size for my Jeep except on the top left driver's side as that is where the floor mounted high beam toggle switch is, so I had to cut a hole to cover the mat fit. It's functional but not perfect.

I've been looking for a rubber mat for my Jeep for a long time. I ordered these thinking they were thick like the Rugged Ridge front mats. I was wrong, it's thinner and the profile isn't that deep. Plus, it goes to exactly where the back seat will be when it's upside down. I usually have the rear seat back, so that didn't work for me.

Everything is fine for what is. This pad is much thinner than the Rugged Ridge floor pad. In addition, with the Unlimited it only covers the loading space behind the back seat. So if you want something that covers the entire cargo area when the rear seat is reclined or folded down, look elsewhere. The fit is also not as good as with floor coverings. Could definitely use some serious improvements.

I bought it knowing it wouldn't cover the entire trunk area as I leave the back seat for my dog. Slightly thinner than heavy duty floor mats but strong enough with a similar bathtub design. I'm not exactly sure why they didn't cover "the whole" range, but overall it works for my purposes. Might be a 5 star product if they upgraded it to full coverage.

This loadspace mat is great for what it's designed for: protect your carpet and stop splashes WHILE THE REAR LUGGAGE IS STILL IN THE CAR, folded up or down. No, it's not the same material as the Rugged Ridge floor mats, it's more like a Husky pad. But it's still durable and high quality. If people read all the descriptions and reviews before buying, I'm sure there wouldn't be so many bad reviews.

I bought the whole kit for my 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. The trunk mat and rear mats fit, but the front ones don't. The mat on the driver's side curls up and sticks out right where my gas pedal foot is. I have to constantly pull it back and to the left to straighten it or allow it to get in the way of my foot on the pedal. Only covers the area behind the seat. If you lengthened the seat, it looks like the wrong liner as it doesn't cover the entire cargo area. I don't know why they did that? If they did this throughout the area, the nits would be able to extend under the back seat and not get in the way of passengers' feet. In the photos this mat appears to cover the entire cargo area, but only covers about 2/3 of the seat back when the seat is in the extended position. I cut holes in the rubber for the threaded seat belts to go through and to be honest I regret it. I think this thing is great for moving things, but if you want to carry something in your jeep you'll probably have to remove the seat, so why would you want a mat that only covers part of it? truck bed? Fitted in my 84 CJ7. Could have been about 1 inch wider to really fit between the wheel arches. Cut out some slits on the sides for the seat belts and a hole in the middle for the buckles. I considered drilling holes and removing the seat belts and then reinstalling the seat belt bolts to hold them in place, but then any further removal for cleaning would require removing the seat belt bolts each time.
