NOT NON-SLIP - This pad is meant for use with rugs anchored by furniture or heavy rugs that stay in place on their own. For non-slip applications, try one of our felt and rubber options. ULTRA PLUSH FEEL - Add extra thick cushion and floor protection under your rugs with a 100% felt pad. Provides a thick buffer between your rugs and floors for luxurious comfort. Try the thinner 3/8" or 1/4" options for less cushion. DENSE FIBER PAD - Pad contains 40oz of felt per square yard. Thickness is approximately 1/2" throughout (actual thickness may vary slightly in production). Heavier and denser than most rug pads on the market for those looking to maximize cushioning. Extra thickness is good for sound absorption and insulation (warmth) benefits. Makes my floor warm!

I have hardwood floors in an old 1940s house. This pad is underneath the rug in my bedroom and my feet are so much warmer on the rug than on the bare floor.

Pros
  • I am going to try thicker 1/2 " rug pad

Lots of cushion! on my review.

We purchased the 1/2 inch cushion and love it! It makes getting down on the floor to play with our toddler so much more comfortable. We purchased the 7x10 for our 7x10 rug and it fits exactly to the rug size. We have not trimmed yet since it really doesn’t make the rug stick up that much.

Measure exact 8x10 in my review

Product was good but it slips n slides on my hardwood floor. I needed something that would stick to either carpet or floor but it slides too much. Otherwise the measurements were exact. I have the 8x10

This was so soft! good for me

When one is trying to protect real hardwood floors, soft padding is essential. I was very pleased with the product and it is hold up well under rug and heavy coffee table so far. I did not use adhesion for the pad.

As expected in my review

Bought this to put under an area rug and to protect new hardwood floors. It adds some cushion to rug and provides a protective barrier against the rough back of the rug.

Great product. best in my review

Works well. Great product. Had to trim it to fit our dimensions, but it wasn't too hard. Shipping was delayed, but other than that great experience.

Wonderful padding under my rug

I love this pad (3/8"), and it really is wonderful padding under my area rug on smooth hardwood flooring. There is zero scent coming from the pad right out of the box. There has been no movement between the rug and the rug pad, but the rug/RugpadUSA combination did slip along the smooth wood floor so I added a thin rubber pad underneath, and it is great.

The rug pad is so soft and makes our rug feel more expensive

The rug pad was as described, even down to them scooting over the hardwoods. Putting heavy furniture over them to keep in place.

Great rug pad for the price

Adds just enough softness and cushiness and holds the rug in place well. I love it. The 8x10 is just slightly larger than our 8x10 rug but I was able to trim the edges no problem.

Adds nice cushion for rug

I bought this pad to protect my wood floors. It is just right. Soft on the bottom next to the floor and light texture on top to keep the rug in place. Highly recommend.

Nice thick pad good for me

I have a 8x10 thick rug so I ordered 8x10 1/4 inch pad . For me Very little cut when you buy same size . 1/4 inch is very thick . Thanks for attention!

Super comfy in my review

We ordered padding to go underneath our new area rug. Love it! Made rug so comfy that kids and dogs love to lay on it. The padding may not provide enough insulation for colder floors or climates, leading to discomfort or increased energy costs.

Makes the rug I placed over it feel much more plush than it really is

It's a rug pad. good for me

It does what it's supposed to do. However, I ordered 8x10 and it measures at 9.5x10, so having to trim it is annoying. Has good thickness.

Great affordable felt rug pad, absorbs the sound of creaky floors. Much softer than I expected. Easy to trim to fit rug size.
