I bought the original Beastie Bar & Stand (ie with white balls). I love it! On rolling sections it's amazing that foam rollers or The Stick can't hit. I still use a foam roller and stick, but this allows me to identify problem areas. At first it seemed a bit expensive. But it's worth every penny. I highly recommend this product.

I use them for calf and thigh cramps. You're sick as hell if you have to put all your weight on it and just push it, but when you're done you'll feel great. I see many uses listed but I've only used them for foot issues. I use them on a stand or as a portable device to just press down like a rolling pin. They are so good my buddy bought one after trying mine one day.

First, I bruise easily. However, I also used a regular styrofoam roller with bumps and had no bruising. after 1 besty session at the bar i have bruises like i was insulted. Luckily I got the original and not the x-firm. I don't think it hurt when I used it. The reason for the 4 stars is that I couldn't lie on it and ride on my back. the stand tips over. I figured I could do it. but i think i have to mount it on the wall and massage while standing. I was hoping to roll on it like a foam roller…
