An excellent device that is at least worth the money.

Great product, good value for money even if only used once. This along with the green cutting pad and some kind of compound removed the swirls and scratches from my car. I don't regret the investment.

Pros
  • 500w motor
Cons
  • Minor imperfections

The best of the best for grinders and polishers

If you really want to do a great job, don't hesitate and spend the extra dollars, it will pay off. Even if you don't have a professional job, make the most of it. The hassle you avoid when you buy the best tool, it's worth every dollar!

Pros
  • Quality Italian design and workmanship
Cons
  • No

That's a great polisher. Starting with a cheap porter cable

This is a superb polisher. Started with cheap Porter Cable, then bought Griot's garage. This is my polishing machine, with which paint defects can be removed well. My other polishers are downgraded to headlight restorations and sealer/wax applicators.

Pros
  • Superb Italian design and craftsmanship
Cons
  • Upgrades

Quality tool for quality results

Insanely high quality. It takes 10 minutes for 30 minutes of work. Not as noisy as my old Dewalt and also a lot lighter and handier. I use Chemical Guys hex spacers and it makes detailing easier. You get what you pay for. I've used cheap $30 fenders, a mid-range Dewalt, and this. I don't think I can ever go back now.

Pros
  • Soft start guarantees linear acceleration to prevent accidental product spills
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Excellent polisher for rebar or professional use

I have little to no experience with a car polish buffer but wanted to try color correcting a 12 year old Cadillac I just bought. I've watched various videos on how to do this fix and I've seen various machines that people have used to do this job. I chose the Rupes 15 because I liked the low vibration that the reviewers claimed. Using Rupes has allowed me to restore my car to a better than factory shine without the paint damage and numbness in fingers and hands that I have experienced with…

Pros
  • Quiet operation and minimal vibration
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Great for all users

Very very good machine. Bought recently, very happy with the functionality. The device is a bit heavy and requires little effort. Don't be fooled by professional online videos that make polishing easy. Even with this wonderful machine, the polishing process is physically demanding. Rupes has enough power and is pretty easy to master. The learning curve is quite small and you will probably only have a few instances where the buffer leads you and you don't the buffer. The pads are easy to put on…

Pros
  • Anti-slip function prevents high speed skidding and scratches
Cons
  • A lot

Expensive but I've never seen any complaints about it.

Quality as expected. I've only used it once so far, so take that as your first impression. First I have a couple of buffs and polishers, rotary: Dewalt 724xp, large tilt head dynabrade, mini pneumatic dynabrade, my absolute favorite rotor is the Flex Pe14. I mostly use rotors for my boat projects, but I had a single stage white tundra that needed a rotor. This is my second DA to upgrade my porting cable. My newest truck actually has a clear coat. It was previously used in the dusty landscaping…

Pros
  • 500w motor
Cons
  • Some difficulties
