    Very very thin! You can see straight ahead.

    Very very thin! You can see right through them. There is no match for this brand and style of shorts. My son has 3 pairs, all the same size and type, bought from different places and all different lengths or thickness. That is very strange. This last pair we bought from Amazon is too thin.

    I would buy again in my opinion

    It is great. I bought a child for soccer. The logo is actually on the bottom of the shorts, not on the waist. A bit more transparent than we'd like, but you won't notice. My son is tall and thin. He's also 12. The laces are great for this tall and thin situation. I would buy again. Hope this one helps. (size large)

    Nice shorts I think

    This is a favorite with my sons. They are beautiful, comfortable and a great price. They come in different colors. They are true to size. They also last a long time and are passed on to the next child.

    Black shorts are too small

    Too small. It was odd that the black (large size) was much smaller than the same size gray and navy blue. Russell shorts of a different color (other item listing $) were true to size.

    Ideal for flag football

    Great shorts for flag football as they have no pockets. But they are very see through so make sure your little ones are wearing underwear.

    We ordered a large size for my 12 year old son. He is tall and slim and they fit the waist perfectly and are the right length. He's about 5ft 4in tall and weighs about 90lbs and his shorts fall just below his knees.

    Russell Athletic is the best in my rating

    The pants fit very well and I still had them, I know I can buy here every time I need a new pair of pants. It wasn't expensive, which I liked, and they were delivered very quickly.

    Short in my review

    I am giving 4 stars for the quality of the shorts, for what I needed them for and how quickly they accepted my return. The only downside to these shorts was that I bought them for my son to play basketball in. It's big in youth sizes so I took that size and it fit the waist but the problem was the length of the shorts. they were too short. In addition, this is the only negative point I had to experience with them.

    My kids love these for playing soccer. They're roomy and comfortable, although a little big in the waist. So I would buy one size smaller than your child's actual height and return one if it's too small or keep one if it's too big. Just my $0.02 if I got that right at all. I assume you are a parent and know what I am talking about when it comes to size puzzles.

    These shorts are really small. My son who is 12 years old 4ft 9in and very skinny usually wears 10-12 boys but the averages were too short in length and waist. I also ordered a large one right away and they fit well, although a bit short in length for his liking.

    Perfect for flag football - no pockets and ties at the waist!

    Just right for flag football. It was awful to find white shorts with no pockets; I'm so glad it worked! They fit great (youth size S) for my 8 year old. He's tall and skinny, but they have a drawstring waist to cinch his waist. His only complaint is that he wishes they were a little longer, but then again, he's tall for his age. I will definitely buy them again when his team colors change.

    These shorts are perfect for my grandson's Catholic school uniform. Children need solid greenery without decorations. The small logo on the thigh is hidden by his t-shirt so it fits perfectly and costs about a quarter of the price of the Flynn O'Hare shorts!
