Whetstone Eraser

Bought these solely to clean my whetstones (diamond, CBN and aluminum oxide). I don't have rusty knives so I can't comment on how the eraser performs for its intended purpose. I tried to remove the rust from the sink but it didn't work.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons

That's magic! - Kitchen and dining room

This is phenomenal! I'm excited! After 10 minutes my carbon steel knife bought in Japan is like new again! So easy! So easy! Works so well! The photos speak for themselves. I was told I was looking forward to the start, I forgot to take a "before" photo until I was halfway through.

Pros
  • Pretty
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Works very well for rust removal

I use them to touch up high carbon knives when they have some rust. They easily remove the patina. They mark the steel a bit, so if you're concerned about the appearance after the rust is gone, you'll need to rework. But if your main goal is to keep the steel clean, this is the quickest and easiest solution.

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Not all good

Ideal for cleaning sharpening stones and removing rust.

Ideal for cleaning whetstones or knives. When I first opened the packaging, I thought it was an eraser used to clean sandpaper, but it's not. They do not wear out and do not grind off when the load is relieved. I use them to clean my 300, 600, 800, 1000 and 1200 whetstone and to remove rust from other metal objects. Thanks to them, my stone looks like a new stone again. I highly recommend these products.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • No machine

I use these to clean my knives and whetstones

They are great for cleaning your waterstones of carbon buildup and one even had a bit of rust! I was so excited to use it for its intended purpose, I almost had to giggle, it worked great, got rid of tiny rust spots in seconds. This set also includes everything you will ever need to clean your whetstones. Fantastic tool at a great price. I'm very happy with my purchase if they don't also make tacos, but I realize I'm asking a lot

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Minor issues

Works great on surface rust

You'll need a finer stone to restore the high gloss finish if that's your job, but this will quickly and easily remove the most stubborn surface rust and also allows you to do a touch up finish Finish the surface with fine grit stone or (if the finish is not important to you) protect the surface with oil, wax or other product. It is very easy to use as it is slightly flexible so it can follow a small groove or curve in the metal you are working with. It is not flexible enough to polish very…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Some bugs

Works very well, really impressed

I have nothing but praise for them. They work! It's like literally removing rust. I have used them on a few small restoration projects and they are amazing although ready for many more. Not too abrasive, given enough time and elbow lubrication you'll wipe the contaminants off the metal. I've even touched up a few edges with it when the smallest corrections require a very fine abrasive. With prolonged use, it manages surprisingly well to actually reshape and sharpen small parts of the blade if…

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Reliability

Essential for any cook, professional or at home

One of the best tools to add to your arsenal. A colleague recommended them to me when I was discussing buying my first charcoal knife and I'm so glad he did. As a carbon novice, I often forget to dry my blade in the midday rush. Without them, my knife would be in worse shape. With this tool you can easily remove rust and unwanted patina, as well as polish small scratches that can occur when using a whetstone. Not only does this tool keep your knives in great visual condition, but you can use it

Pros
  • This is Amazing
Cons
  • No Insurance
