I needed this for an old wooden cabinet that had very old (lead?) paint mixed with it Alligators was covered in places. I've read that this product allows me to fill and smooth the surface without having to do much (if any) sanding. Well, mostly it wasn't. It worked well in one area, but not as much in other areas. I applied several layers as directed and even applied a very thick layer. I did more research and found that looping between costs can help. Tip: Do not use an electric hand grinder.

Excellent material. Use it to exfoliate home paint exposed to the desert sun. Easy to use and clean. Update: well it was the first jar. This morning June 1st 2018 I opened the second two cans I ordered for the first time and both are defective. The color is separate and cannot be mixed. This paint was used on two fiberglass stem columns installed in 2000 or 2001 and they were chipping. Repeated scraping removed most of the paint, but some remained firmly bound, leaving a defined bulge between the bare column and the painted areas. The grinder shading helped, but it was still very noticeable.
