Does, exactly what it said it dies. Great price. Great product. Highly recommend if you have a generator you need to run a 30amp 3 prong plug. And generator has a 4plug, female!

Falls out of generator.

The metal prongs that go in generator did not fit very tight. When you plug your rv 30 amp cord in it the weight of cord pulls plug almost halfway out. I think the male plug on this product was made a bit thin. I had to prop up this cord because if I didn’t then it would come out of generator. My generator is a Honda 2800eg.

For my RV using with generator

I wanted to take the strain off my RV power line that plugs into my generator. It seems to do the job so far. Only have used it about 20 hours so far.

Pros
  • Used once and looks to be good quality. Mounted well in my generator and good connection to my cord.
Cons
  • The locking male plug may be difficult to insert and remove, requiring extra effort from users

If you have generator and have 50 amp trailer need this product

We have 2 Honda generator and parallel cable together for 30 amp .our fifth wheel trailer is 50 amp .so we need this '50 to 30 amp ' adapter with twist lock .works great.

Pros
  • All molded 10 gauge wire that seems well put together. I guess time will tell.
Cons
  • The 14-50R female plug may be too loose or too tight, leading to poor connectivity with the RV power source

Good product for my opinion

Used for connection to my generator that was not 30 amp RV compatible. Worked very well and is actually built very nicely. This is good to have in your adapter box for the RV for sure

Just what I needed.

So I bought a Ford Powerboost with a 7.2Kw plug. My house has a 50amp generator hook up. I have a 50amp 9.2Kw generator and a 50amp 25’ cord. I don’t really need this adapter, but if I ever did, by the time I ordered it and received it, my lights might be back on, or my refrigerated and frozen items might be rotten, or WW3 might get in the way of that whole purchase/ delivery thing. So, I bought this adapter, just in case. It is exactly what I need, for that, just in case I need it moment.

  • This adapter is exactly what I needed to connect rv to portable generator. Worked perfectly.
Cons
  • The green LED power indicator may not be visible or clearly visible in bright sunlight or during daytime use
