Not Worth the Hassle

I bought this product hoping it would simplify my video conferencing setup, but I ended up regretting my decision. As a result of using this product, I found that the quality of my video stream was worse than before and I had to spend numerous hours troubleshooting issues. The only good thing I can say is that the price was reasonable, but it's just not worth the hassle.

Worked but died after plugging/unplugging

These things are sooooo cheap - how do they do it? This device worked for many months with a constant connection to a computer and a camera - always on. I once moved it to the second computer/camera setting (which worked) but when I moved it back it didn't work and when I tried to do it again in the second setting the computer said the USB device failed worked properly. I suspect that connecting/disconnecting somehow killed it. So I bought two more, one as a backup.

Served its purpose

All I had to do was connect my camera to my laptop and it served its purpose and was pretty easy to set up with no issues. I was afraid to buy because of the price but after a few weeks of use everything is still good.
