What a Switch!: Computer Components

Bought as I needed to set up 3 laptops so I could use one keyboard/mouse for all 3. This is the only one I could find in Revain with good reviews. as well as the presence of 4 separate buttons that you can press to go directly to the desired device. This was necessary for me as I don't have the patience to press a button multiple times to get to the device I want. Switching between computers was quick and I didn't see long delays. No emulation = total shutdown

This is one of Revain's most expensive USB-only switches, but it gives you real buttons for each computer, which is a huge plus if you have more than two, since you if you don't do this, you have to press and hold the button to switch between the individual ports. The problem is that it is passive and therefore does not support connecting the device to computers that are switched off. Instead, every time you switch, it's like disconnecting and reconnecting. Excellent USB switch, the best computer components

I ordered this switch to replace my previous switch; which you had to go through 4 ports to get to the computer you wanted to activate. This one is way better. It has a button for each computer you are connected to. It also has a nice simple remote control. Sitting at arm's length from my switch, I don't really need the remote. I'm using this along with DisplayPort KVM to add peripherals (Razer Naga Mouse, Razer Blackwidow Keyboard, Razer Nommo Speakers, Logitech Pro X Headset, HyperX Core Mic ) to switch between my work on a MacBook Pro and my gaming PC.
