Yes it was great. We could no longer use this grinder because it was no longer flat and when we tried to use it the metal hit the wood leaving a scratch and mark. We were so excited about this we weren't sure if you could replace the gasket but it was so easy and quick.

Suitable. The pads are melting, right? I used 400 grit sandpaper and without applying too much pressure melted the pad into the sandpaper. No, it wasn't self-adhesive paper. The pad stuck to the sandpaper and when the paper was removed pieces of it came loose. It makes no sense. Yes, double minus.

Item arrived on time, fits perfectly, did not last long - plywood entertainment stand and first cushion need replacing. The sponge(?) pad wore out quickly, causing the 2 screws on the front edge to poke through the sandpaper. The original seal lasted much longer. And no, I haven't changed the way the grinder is used.

I love her because I ran a ryobi grinder through the ring. I could probably invest in another grinder, but I'm just a weekend warrior when it comes to home improvement products. However, I will say that over the years they have increased the price which is frustrating but still less than buying a new grinder. Easy to install, just keep the screws clean.
