Must be ready to use out of the box

Imagine my surprise when I found that this new dosing pump does not prime. After trying several methods including replacing the suction tube, I disassembled the pump and found that the rubber peristaltic tube was pinched in two places. A quick soak in hot water and some manipulation and it was straight again, after that the pump worked fine. I use this to dose defoamer into a recovery bucket on our brewery filling machine. The defoamer is very viscous, but the pump still works properly. No more

  • Equipped with universal voltage for worldwide use and CE certified and internationally patented for safety
Cons
  • weak

Didn't work out of the box

As TTT wrote in the previous review, I also received a non-working pump out of the box. The hose was sealed at two points by the rollers pressing on it. I had to disassemble the pump, which can be a little tricky. If you are not careful you can easily break the latches on the pump body. Once disconnected, you can open the pinched tube by rolling it between your fingers. I rotated the pipe 90 degrees when I put it back together so it wouldn't close. Also, the long hose is of poor quality, very…

So far so good with aquarium pumps and filters

I use this pump to automatically add chlorine (bleach) to my spa. I'm still doing manual tests, adjusting dosages, and double-checking. For example I started with 40ml every 8 hours and got 4-5ppm. It's a bit high and I was wondering if I tested it right before the 8 hour dose if it would be too low. So I tried 4ml every hour hoping it would keep the level above 1ppm. 3ml/h was almost normal. This pump is easy to use for programming with fixed doses and fixed intervals. There's also a manual…

Pros
  • Accurately doses diluted medication or aquarium water additives
