Okay, speaker adapters if you need them in a pinch.

These are "universal" so some will need to be cut to fit 6.5" speakers. At the same time, only about 1/4 inch of plastic remained after trimming. I made them sound deadening anyway so it wasn't a big deal but I cracked one while trimming which sucked. Overall they're good for the price, but if you need something that fits without fuss I'd look elsewhere.

Pros
  • High quality automotive grade ABS
Cons
  • Blank

Great for me, good for cars and automotive electronics

Car: 2014 Ford Taurus Limited front doors I use these with the Alpine SPR-50C 5 speaker Kit / 14". The adapter fits perfectly in the door opening. When I put the speaker in the adapter, I used 4 clamps where the speaker screws in so I can hold it in place nice and tight. It's hard to explain, but the area where the screw enters is open-ended. If you use a large screw you could probably grab it, but I used a smaller clip screw. I put the clip on the adapter, one hole on each side. Then I screwed

Pros
  • Fits standard and oversized 6.5-6.75" speakers
Cons
  • Volume

Excellent quality, perfect fit, no cheap plastic at all.

I don't know why some reviews say that this is cheap plastic, I will tell you that it is not. Yes, they have some flex, but this is necessary to keep them from breaking. If they were a little heavier, that would happen. You did exactly what I wanted. They converted the 6x8, yes, 6x8 (NOT 6X9) speaker connector to a 6.5" round speaker connector. They screwed perfectly into the factory mounting holes, then tested the new 6.5" round speaker, marking the mounting points with a screwdriver, drilled,

Pros
  • Allows the installation of new non-original speakers in place of the factory speakers
Cons
  • I will write later

Not "High Quality " ABS Plastic - 2010 Mazda 3 Hatchback with Bose

This thing is AFFORDABLE. Seems cheap cheap. This is a piece of plastic covering a 6x8 hole for a 6.5 speaker. I have REF6520CX 6.5" Infinity component speakers and they seem to fit just by assembling them together. Let's see how they are assembled. Fall off** They fit well. very thin but with some kind of dead mat instead of padding, they are attached and look nice. I ordered another pair for the rear speakers. Very cheap and flimsy, not worth $10 more like $3. Also, this will be my final…

Pros
  • Backed by Scosche Lifetime Warranty & Lifetime Tech Support
Cons
  • I won't say anything

I bought a pair and then went to the Dollar Store and bought two oval cutting boards for $1 each, then I transferred the adapters to cutting boards, cut them out with a jigsaw, drilled holes and bam, now I have thick, sturdy speaker adapters!to save $20 (two pairs doubled). I've heard they do NOT work with 6.5" speakers so only use them if you have 5.25" speakers like I currently do as I am replacing my standard 6x8 speakers with Skar 5 .25" speakers because round speakers sound better, which…

Pros
  • Precisely designed to fit seamlessly between speaker and adapter
Cons
  • Available in white only
