WILL NOT FIT 6.5 " OR 2 " TWEETER

These will not fit my 6.5" speakers even though they only require a 5-3/8" hole to install. The woofer cutout is so far down the center that a 2" tweeter won't fit in either. The product dimensions list a thickness of 0.3" but this applies to BOTH - they are EACH 4mm thick. Thick enough to being relatively strong, might fit some small 5.5" woofers and tiny tiny tweeters, but NOT my Alpine SPR-60C. The cutout was marked for a tweeter slot, I was able to use it. Unsuitable for me, try Metra…

Buyers beware - they may not fit your selected 6.5 " and 5.25 " speakers

I purchased these adapters after being told by tech support from another site that they fit the front door panels of my 97 Dodge Ram. and be able to use 6.5 inch and 5.25 inch speakers. I bought a pair of 6.5" Pyle PLDV6K front door component speakers and they have impressed me. However, the Scosche SA69 adapter I purchased will not work with these speakers without a LARGE thread to alter the hole to allow the Pyle speakers to mount flush to the face of the adapter. The adapter also doesn't…

My problem was solved - speaker wire connections

for hiding the 6.5 inch round speakers. These adapters are made out of 1/8" thick plastic (looks like ABS). The hole is 5" in diameter, so be sure to trim it down to 6.5". The 6.5" I used required a minimum of a 5.5" hole. Using a dremmel and a cutter I was able to quickly enlarge the hole to the correct size. This was a quick fix that solved my main car stereo problem. I have no reason not to give them a 5 to give stars.

Mixed Option: Speaker Wire Connectors

As expected, my 6.5 inch models needed to be trimmed down a bit, but not by much. I ended up taking about 1/8 inch all around to empty the basket from my Alpine SPJ-17C2. I've found that a coping saw with a narrow serrated edge works wonders. They are durable and you can fit 6.5 feet. s are there, so I'm guessing they match the ad. My only real concern is that the mounting holes your 6x9 should be in didn't exactly match my 97 Accord Special Edition. Eventually I got it right, but I figured the

Perfect fit for Polk Audio speakers in the 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan

I replaced the stock 6x9 front door speakers with a Polk MM6502 component kit and just because I'm old school I wanted my own Make speaker adapters. That was until I went to Home Depot and saw how much a piece of 1/4 inch plexiglass cost. I hadn't played car audio games in about 20 years and didn't realize how expensive Plexiglas had become so I ordered these instead. .Apparently (judging by some bad reviews) there's a bunch of 6.5" speakers that require a bigger cutout and you'll have to open…
