1” x 3-1/4” Diamond Hole Cutter – Vacuum brazed, Shank – 1/4 “ Hex – Impact rated. Materials: Our diamond holesaw can be used in; porcelain, granite, stone, tile, marble, travertine, glass. Design: High quality vacuum brazed diamond cutting head for extended life in heavy use. Bit is designed to leave a smooth accurate hole. Our diamond drill bits have 1/4” shank allowing for quick connection with a variety of different drill types. Large ejection slot makes plug removal quick and easy. Must use with water. Medium to low drill pressure and water will drastically increase the longevity of the bit.

Cut straight through the granite countertop.

I bought this to install a reverse osmosis faucet that required drilling into a granite countertop. It's a little hard to start with hope. Hold the drill firmly or even use a jig. It's also a good idea to put masking tape on the area you're going to be drilling so you don't scratch the countertop if you slip and it's easy to slip before the hole moves. Just let the tool do its thing. Work and keep some water on the tip of the drill. Put something under the drill site to catch sand and water.
