The screw is too big. Best in the Camera & Photo Category

I'm buying this a second time and I still get it wrong. I was very excited to receive this and the screw is too big. I do not understand what is going on.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Almost Never

Not very strong, easy to disassemble

This is fine if you just want to mount the camera on a table or other surface. You can't wrap your legs around anything because they would fall apart. They will come together but cannot be used for their intended purpose. You get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Functionality

You get more than you pay for

I wanted a tripod for my GoPro but didn't want to pay $50 for a piece of plastic. I found this cheap little stand and it works! I don't know why people write bad reviews. Don't blame the quality of this product if it's your own curmudgeon not paying for a better product! Beggars cannot vote

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Clarity

MUST READ SCREW good for full tripods

EUREKA! I was about to return this item, but then the Holy Spirit of Christ enlightened me. I came to the sudden realization that a screw has a screw in it! You just have to unscrew it. It's a metaphor for life. Sometimes you just have to realize that nothing is what it seems. Once you are free from the shackles of this world, only then can you unscrew the screws of life. Stay thirsty my friends

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Don't get wet like me

Don't get wet like me; otherwise it will fall apart. I decided to try it on one of my dives because I thought it would be ok even after washing it off with fresh water. After my dive, the flexible ball head was no longer held. My camera kept falling sideways during the recording. Before that it was good. You could say it was my fault and that would be true, but you could also think it was built to resist water intrusion.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Some difficulties

I've had it for about 3 months and it was great at first but got tougher

I use it with my Canon 80D. I had it for about 3 months and it was great at first but hardened. Don't get me wrong, this is a great product and at $12 it's a bargain, but it's an item that you'll need to replace every six months. For those starting out as a blogger, photographer, or filmmaker I would recommend this, but if you have an extra $20-30 I would recommend getting the Joby Gorillapod.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Contact seller

Great value

Hard to beat for the money. I finally settled on this cheap fake because I wanted something with a small ball head. For that it works great. It even supports the Oly TG-5 at a slight angle. I haven't tried wrapping the tripod legs around anything to see how strong it is, but for aiming the camera at different angles and locking the head it held up. I like these types of legs for certain things, but they're not that useful without a head, so I went with this one.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Thin

Flexible tripod as advertised

I received a ball head tripod with GoPro adapters. Haven't used it yet, but for now it's working fine. When it arrived the tripod was a bit stiff and I had trouble flexing some of the "joints" of the legs. I felt like some of them were stuck together, but after squeezing them a bit, they finally came off and everything seems fine. I have a Nikon D90 camera and tried it with two different lenses on a flat surface. The tripod stayed in place, but I don't know if it can support the weight of theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Tripods and monopods
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Be wary of 1 star reviews.

This is exactly what I needed. With the flexible tripod, I can attach my GoPro or Canon T3i to almost anything. This is a very solid tripod for its size and I don't see any future problems with this tripod. A few things I noticed from reading the reviews before buying: - The screw that is on the tripod is for DSLRs. If you want to attach a swivel mount for your GoPro or just the GoPro mount as a whole, unlock the main screw. Below is a smaller screw. (It would be pretty silly to suggest an item

Pros
  • Complete Racks
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

The most important thing here I think is that the screw that secures your camera is metal. Before this tripod I bought two others, both had a plastic screw, shiny chrome plastic that looks like metal in the photos. Needless to say, I was beyond annoyed with these purchases. Those plastic screws were flimsy and prone to breakage (one broke but I got the other back before it had a chance). However, that metal bolt on a solid base doesn't seem to be going anywhere. the joints are all tight. Iโ€ฆ
