Fantastic coffee maker!

Great car! Produces a fantastic cup of coffee and excellent consistency. Cleaning is easy thanks to the removable brew group. There are some minor features like customizing the grinder settings. The documentation isn't clear on how to do this (e.g. the display will tell you the bean hopper door is open, but you just have to wait for the error to go away and you can proceed with the steps to set the grind size). Definitely recommend if you love coffee and want a car with minimal clutter and…

Looks great! in kitchen and dining area

This is our third Saeco machine. We were able to get around 15,000 cups before we had problems with our previous machines. I'll be happy if we can get at least as much out of this machine. We usually make big cups of coffee with a machine so I want this model to make a big cup. I typically add about 4 ounces of hot water from this coffee maker and then make the largest size available and it seems to work perfectly. This machine has a higher water temperature setting which I really like. It…

HD8924/47 vs HD8927/47

Great quality if you can get a discount (less than $850). with Jura) - Easy to clean Cons: - The rinse cycle after choosing a drink forbids you to put the cup under the spout, press the button and leave - Again with the rinse cycle when the machine goes into standby mode (we put the cup underneath so it doesn't all fall into the compartment) Facts: - I was a bit disappointed to find that there is more difference between the HD8924 and HD8927 than just a milk carafe. The HD8924 has fewer…

Delicious one cup coffee

Would be 5 stars but needs something. The water tank is not enough and the coffee bean holder could be a bit bigger. The instructions are not particularly intuitive for the first time user of this type of machine. For example, I still haven't found a way to set the brewing amount for 3 different cup sizes. The electronics of the machine is sometimes a bit confusing. For example, it indicates that a landowner needs to be cleared even if they don't have many bases. Makes really good coffee. It…

$1000.00 espresso maker not working due to small 5 cent magnet

I received a "close hopper door" error and after going through all the cleaning and troubleshooting steps I finally called customer service, where I've been told there is a small magnet on the underside of the bean hopper lid that tells the machine the lid is closed and is safe to grind beans that should have moved on their own and recommends closing it repair and replace the lid which I refused to do it was out of warranty. I'll look for a spare magnet that will hopefully fit in the…

Buyer Beware Seattle Coffee Gear Extended Warranty

I purchased this Seattle Coffee Gear espresso maker at a bargain price that includes a one year extended warranty after the manufacturer's warranty. It's a good espresso, but the grinder only lasted 14 months. I have since contacted Seattle Coffee Gear to have this machine serviced under their extended warranty. Unfortunately, SCG does not provide any warranty with the purchase of this machine. If you decide to buy this machine, be very wary of the Seattle Coffee Gear fake warranty. You are…
