It doesn't move at all which is a plus but once I put my rug on it the rug still moved. I cropped it to the size of the rug (enough so it's not visible), but my rug is still moving.

This is the worst mat I have ever bought. The mat slides everywhere, so does the runner! The purpose of a rug is to hold the rug in place, and it doesn't do that AT ALL. waste of money.

It was great value for money. The padding of the carpet was good and thick. You can really see the difference with this pad under the mat. I will definitely buy another one next time I need it.

I bought a thicker shock absorbing jigsaw piece base plate to put in the basement around the weight bench/exercise area. The problem was that the tiles were a bit slippery. Lay them under the tile and don't slip again (that's the way it should be, of course). A product that does what it's supposed to do is unbeatable!

I now have several of these mesh pads (as opposed to the older, thicker, more durable foam pads). They are much lighter and therefore easier to position. They're also fairly easy to cut, unless they depend on being cut at right angles to the substrate grid, as I've never had one with its edges aligned with the grid. This particular rug is noticeably thicker than the previous two I have purchased.

The last thing you want is a rough side of your rug scratching your hardwood, or worse, a rug slipping under your feet. This mat will prevent both of those falls, and at this price point, it's a great value. If you have several smaller rugs, I recommend buying the largest rug available and then trimming it yourself with regular household scissors. This large cushion can easily fit 3 or 4 small rugs or rugs and is much more economical than buying several smaller cushions of the same material.
