Firm once applied but needs convincing

You get an insane amount of tape for what you buy but you need to iron a little warmer than the instructions say or it won't fully adhere to your fabric

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Protection

Works well so far

I wanted to add a reflective strip to my bike with a jack. The application was quite simple - iron on low heat. Very happy with the results so far even if it's only been a day so I'll have to see how long the reflective strip lasts.

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • Very expensive

Used for bike gear

Sticks to bike gear. It takes a bit of practice, so find a place for critical clothing, e.g. in your clothing, and practice to make sure the material is compatible, as some man-made fabrics can be tricky with lots of Lycra. I had to experiment with my iron between synthetic and wool.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Reflects well

I have ironed them onto two t-shirts that I wear when I run in the dark. It took some time for it to stick to the fabric. Every time I tried to remove the back, the reflective elements came off as well. Finally managed to glue some strips. Haven't tried washing the tops yet, but I still have enough reflective tape left over to reapply if needed.

Pros
  • Thermal transfer printing
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Easy to apply and durable

Very happy with this tape. It is easy to iron and durable. I've never used tape like this before, so I put it on an old t-shirt first to test its durability. I've tugged, stretched, and wrinkled it, and this tape didn't give up. It got small tears from stretching the shirt too much (to destroy the tape) but not a single tape really came loose. I ironed it onto a freshly bought charcoal backpack in a few spots and it looks great. My friends can't tell the backpack didn't have reflective pads.

Pros
  • Sew
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

Easy to use, good reflectivity

The lack of instructions was a bit odd, but it was easy enough to apply - I just set the iron to cotton low, positioned the cutting strip and ironed. The moment the iron touched the foil it locked the strip so I could hold one end of the strip to start ironing and hold the strip in place. After letting it cool down, I was able to carefully remove the backing. One day the tip of one of the chevrons started to separate from the fabric when I tugged at it, but changing the foil for a quick extra…

Pros
  • Arts, Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • Some bugs
