I used them for another purpose. I used it to make snot mats for my dogs. I tied the fleece strips through the holes until they were just as nice and full. then I hide Cheerio in wool for my dogs to find on rainy days or when left alone for a while. they love their snuff mats.

Ordered 14 sets of this item. The product is advertised as LOCKOUT rubber mats. Rubber or plastic connectors are needed to block the mats. The whole order came with no locking devices. There are no instructions. I've spent (2) hours or so trying to find a related pattern on the product but haven't found anything. They are quite spongy and seem durable. Not recommended for high or heavy traffic. A ribbed rubber mat in a roll works just as well, maybe better, and is MUCH cheaper.

The mat has the appearance of real rubber with a distinctive smell of vulcanization, so it's a steal for the size of the product. Molded rubber can be expensive for large parts. The design is confusing, with slots in the shoulder straps seemingly there to trap and hold debris. If the weave were solid at the top it would be much more hygienic and easier to clean and I think the slits should help cut the rug into equal pieces down to the middle of the weave. I bought these after watching a youtube video on how to build a dog dock to protect my dogs in case they accidentally fall in the pool and could get off to be on the safe side. I tied them together along the long sides and then zipped the pool noodles on the bottom to keep them afloat. I then secured it to the pool edge and side of the stairs with zip ties. 1. Mine came unassembled so it looks like they took note of the 2020 feedback on the curled edge issue which now appears to be resolved. Just received today 8/5/18. Ordered primarily for garbage cans and recycling for weekly collection. That's what they say. Can't give a full 5 stars for durability without having it long enough to confirm or rate it for the same reason. But I'm sure they will hold up well. Like many other reviewers, I can't get them to fully unfold, relax, lay flat in my life. They come rolled up (16 inches wide) and I put them in the garage when they arrived to unroll them before I started using them. A few days later they still had a noticeable curvature.
