This tool saves a lot of time when working with drywall tape. The only reason for 4 stars is that the two knobs that keep the angled extension from moving tend to bind and are difficult to fix. It looks like it's the feathers. Next time look for another brand, especially one made of metal with more strength.

Okay, I'm nowhere near an expert so take it for what it's worth. I liked this tool and was able to master it pretty quickly. My wife hates this. I did NOT use the corner feature as I don't use mesh tape in the corner. I ALWAYS use strong paper edges in the corners. But I think I'll try the trigon function just to see how it would work - I got curious all of a sudden. Overall, it was worth the price for the convenience of direct recording alone.
