Cool new tool for the artist!

I just wanted to try this little water brush on some of my new ink and watercolor paintings. It's great for creating special effects with ink and great for watercolor painting! You can easily get into some tight corners with this little brush.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Functionality

Ideal for on the go - art, painting and artist supplies

So your desk is upstairs and your TV is downstairs and you want to watch TV AND be creative. Enter the water brush. watercolor everywhere! They are of such good quality, have a large water reserve and allow you great control over how much water is squeezed out. The price is also very great.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Some disadvantages

Good for what it offers.

Nice brush for quick sketches, street painting. But not suitable for dry brushing as the water tank keeps the brush moist. For convenience and small washes, sketches, street scene shooting, a good brush, convenient to carry, no need to carry an extra water bottle. Good with watercolor field sets.

Pros
  • Handsome
Cons
  • So-so

This works very well. I already have 24.

Works very well. I already have a set of 24 Koi watercolor brushes and wanted to add another brush to the one that comes with the 9ml reservoir. I can fit both brushes into one set by removing one of the sponges from the side and putting a 4ml reservoir in its place. The set of 24 trays comes with a medium pointed brush and a large pointed brush. The brush tips are interchangeable, so I can put the large tip on the large tank and the medium tip on the small one.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Really compact and small, ideal for drawing on the go.

Bought as a gift for a friend who paints mini portraits and landscapes, she really liked it, she already had several of these brushes but likes to keep different ones for different shades for easy access and less cross contamination when she moves in the field. I was concerned it was too small to be comfortable, but she didn't mind (or so it seemed). and it fits in her little watercolor set. I also like that the material is lightweight and doesn't feel terribly expensive. A friend of mine told…

Well what they are.

I bought these brushes as a cheaper replacement for the Pentel water brush. While they are fine and work well, they are nowhere near as good as the water brushes I would love to own. Water is difficult to remove from the handle. No liquid comes out when pressed and sometimes the tip of my brush gets dry even though there is still pigment on it and it ruins everything I do. Considering they were only intended for watercolor sketches and not actual paintings, this can be corrected enough not to…

Cons
  • No power

Well I bought this as an alternative to my Niji water brush which I have used and loved for several years. Was considering trying a different brand. Haven't tried it yet and admittedly went with the Sakura brand name as I use Micron pens in my art and they have always worked well for me. From the outside, the packaging looks cheap and, in my opinion, quite small. I understand it must be a travel brush, but my Niji is significantly longer and better finished. Pros: I believe it is as advertised.
