Well I bought this as an alternative to my Niji water brush which I have used and loved for several years. Was considering trying a different brand. Haven't tried it yet and admittedly went with the Sakura brand name as I use Micron pens in my art and they have always worked well for me. From the outside, the packaging looks cheap and, in my opinion, quite small. I understand it must be a travel brush, but my Niji is significantly longer and better finished. Pros: I believe it is as advertised. I haven't tried it yet and I can't at the moment. Cons: Reverse thread on top. States"don't lose the black cap," which is already small and (in my opinion) unnecessary, but there's really no room to stash it. The cap is supposed to separate the two halves while driving to keep the tank from leaking. It just seems poorly made and the cap that should have been on the back of the brush to add length (maybe? Still a lot shorter than my Niji) doesn't seem to fit either. I probably wouldn't buy it again, but I'll keep it and try it. I suspect I'll be happier with the Niji I own and have been using for watercolors for a number of years. I will probably buy another Niji next time too.

Pros
  • Art, Painting & Art Supplies
Cons
  • Unsure
