SALON TECH Titanium Flat Iron Review

If I could say no, I would. We bought a $125 Salon Tech Titan iron for our granddaughter's birthday in September. It only lasted until the end of December (three months!). The only thing Salon Tech offered was a 30 percent discount off the purchase of another! So you only keep your product for three months? What a scam. Do not order from a hardware store. They don't put their customers first.

This is my second time buying this particular iron. The first time I bought it directly from the company was in 2009, so it's been up for 10 years and it's still working great. But the one I bought here doesn't even come close. My hair is barely straight and the iron doesn't get hot at all. I do not recommend this.

I've had this iron for 1.5 years now. It was surprising until recently that the cord connection at the base of the iron seemed to be loose. Now the iron turns on/off when I move the cord a little. I have contacted the manufacturer but I suspect they will not do anything as this is beyond the 1 year warranty. My next step is to try and fix it myself. I expected the iron to last more than 1.5 years considering the price and the fact that it has to be professional quality. Update: The manufacturer

Don't waste your money on this crap. The product is as useless as it gets. I bought this iron about a month ago. I didn't use any serum the first time I used it. The result was not good. My hair looked wavy and no one could tell I had done anything to it. I bought a hair serum and then tried straightening my hair. It looked great. But imagine, that was the only time it worked.
