Great for my red crystals, amano, fish and plants

I use this in 2 tanks, one with amano shrimp and one with red crystals. That works great! All shrimp look very healthy and can shed well. Our tap water is very soft (30-50 TDS) so we just treat it and add some GH+ with every change. In both aquariums there are fish: tetras, measles and catfish. Everyone seems happy and healthy. Our plants also look much healthier. Couldn't be happier.

Great for Neocaridina

This is a near perfect product for those who keep Neocaridina species. Start with good RO or RO/DI water, follow the directions and you'll be fine. For me, 2 1/4 scoops per 5 gallons of RO/DI in one of those blue drinking water containers gives me the ideal parameters for my red cherry shrimp - pH 7.2, KH 3, GH 6 using the API Master Test Kit. TDS runs around 180 with a very cheap HM TDS-3 unit which I calibrate about every month. I noticed that several reviewers have not had the same level of…

Equilibrium far superior for planted aquariums that require a PH of 7

My tap water stinks. I buy reverse osmosis water and remineralize it to PH 7 with ideal GH and KH around 6-8 degrees. I first tried Equilibrium products and it was a big struggle. Equilibrium, plus acidic and alkaline buffers that would not dissolve for several days. Measure it on the first day, you will get the PH value you calculated, but it still contains a lot of white particles. Stir it, let it sit, measure it over the following days and watch the PH in the bucket keep rising to over 8…
