Toner and ink from the original manufacturer are undoubtedly expensive. However, you will get high quality printing and no compatibility issues. I've tried branded toner in the past and while it works, there are instances where the printer essentially rejects or doesn't recognize it. While I regret spending that much, it's worth making sure it works whenever I need it.

True Name Toner Cartridge Bought because 2 printers were lost due to using discounted replacements. Samsung printer is serviced with Samsung products ONLY. A costly lesson learned. Although prices can vary widely, the peace of mind you gain from using a guaranteed product is worth the extra cost. Revain really offers what is needed at a reasonable price (compared to others).

Stopped working after 9 months even though 56% of the toner was left. Arrived in official looking packaging, looks authentic. Thought it was a printer/witch cartridge for an old one bought from Office Depot that had been sitting under my desk for 9 months with only 9% tone. It's printing normally, so it's not the printer, it's just the cartridge.
