Since there is almost no choice of cheap DVD/VCR recorders with ATSC digital tuners, I bought three of these Samsung DVD-VR375 recorders and hooked them up to three Channel Master digital converters. I bought them specifically for recording off-air TV programs onto DVD-RW so I can record programs for my wife. I ordered this for my parents to transfer their collection of VHS tapes to DVD (over 300 I might add). I thought I had researched the product fairly thoroughly beforehand, but just googling the Samsung DVD-VR375 gave me only the most basic reviews, however those reviews did not list the inherent issues with the DVD Recorder VCR combo box.
