Non-genuine Samsung product. We received the filter directly from Samsung via car delivery a few days after purchase. Has no identification tag, has 2, not 3 seals on top and paper documentation looks like a photocopy (even on paper of different weights and colors)

Chinese fakes do not guarantee the absence of harmful particles, so despite the high cost of replacement, an OEM product from Korea is recommended. The OEM filter is noticeably heavier than most imitations where imitations do not offer the same level of filtration.

I would give it a 5 but I received the wrong product. I give 4 because they shipped quickly and accepted my return with no problems. The return was also prompt. I know accidents happen so this won't stop me from buying from this seller again.

I was happy to find this water filter at a lower price than Lowe where we got the Samsung fridge and that it's a Prime member here was 2 days. I know some people prefer universal filters at a much lower cost, but for what we spent on our fridge, I'd like to service it with genuine Samsung parts.

This is an update of my first review. Instructions and immediately noticed a big difference. My ice cream and water taste great. This filter also comes with an authentication strip. Decided to put a star to be fair. I don't remember filtering two gallons of water before using it so I'll pass the doubt on to them and give them and another star, on the other hand the filter didn't come with authentication so I always do do not know yet whether I have received the original product.
