Wide-angle lens designed for digital cameras with APS-C image size (crop matrices). Optical design - 12 elements in 10 groups. The set includes one ED type with extra low dispersion, 2 aspherical and 3 hybrid aspherical lenses. The lenses have a multi-layer anti-reflective NCS (Nano Coating System) coating, which provides very good light transmission. The lens is not suitable for full-frame cameras.

A really necessary purchase, Im glad I found this product.

The earliest use is in depicting cityscapes at night. Because of its improved clarity compared to non-autofocus cameras, its best use is in astrophotography. I give it five stars because there is no equivalent. The benefits: Very high levels of sharpness across much of the image area but not the corners (corner sharpness is on par with a comparable manual focus lens). meaning "sharp" on a "oval" shape.
