    Solid construction and cinematic color contrast

    All I can say is I absolutely love this lens. The cinematic colors it produces are unlike anything I've ever seen. It's all handcrafted so it takes a bit of practice, but I've shot with handheld cameras before so I got the hang of it quickly. The manual focus problem is easily solved by switching to Live View mode. This is a beautifully constructed artistic lens that I will treasure forever.

    A good lens if you need the whole manual

    An interesting lens; I bought this as my only 50mm walking lens. I've had great photos with him but I can't figure out a few important points. Since everything is manual, there is no data in the "EXF data" image file, it is not easy at all at night because you have to use live view mode, and finally I cannot use my speedlite flash for night photography. like using an AF assist light since it's a manual lens.     So far so good for camera lenses

    I have several Canon L series lenses and I was hesitant to buy not only another brand lens but also a manual focus lens. I wanted to expand my photography skills with a fully manual lens and so far I've had fun playing with an old school lens.
