Revolutionary San-Ultra Light Anti-Shock Foam makes the BattleForged Air-Punch Mitts extremely comfortable to punch or elbow, but more importantly the ultra light weight causes less trainer fatigue and superb impact force dispersion. Triple-layered Gel infused Air Foam is extremely light and disperses impact from hits superbly. Each single mitt weighs approximately 10 oz, yes that is correct. The total weight of the pair of pads is approximately 1.25 lbs!. SBL engineered leather construction is durable and made to withstand the most grueling training sessions. Secure Velcro Closure System with Slip-on design. Open finger design allows for air flow to keep your hands dry for more comfortable training sessions. Velcro closure ensures a secure fit for training while making the pads easy to put on or take off. Each order comes as a pair (2 pads). The dimensions of the front striking area is 10.5" x 9". Perfect for use in Muay Thai, Kickboxing, MMA (Mixed Martial Arts), Boxing, Tae Kwon Do, or Karate.

Not impressed Good for sports

The skin on it is too thin to use without gloves. One hit and I felt like breaking through. Pack it up again and send it back. You say light weight. What are you! Like punches and a blown pillow. Not impressed!

Too clumsy and unstable

Some might like it, but I didn't like it. They look really cool, but two things made me return them... 1) They didn't "pop" on impact, but more importantly, 2) they lack the stability that I find in other types that have a hemisphere for you palm . Without this, they felt unstable and often caused the gauntlets to twist a bit.

Excellent goods. for other sports

Some negative reviews surprise me - these gloves are excellent. Not only are they light and stylish, but they also absorb shock very well. As a trainer, elbows, shoulders and wrists are easy for me – my fighter hardly feels any pain in the joints either. They also cushion the knees/elbows very well. For the price compared to the $450 Winning Airstrike Mittens they are worth every penny and then money too. The only problem you might have is that the skin your hands rest on is a bit thin and can…

great value for money

I am a very petite female (5w, 97lbs) and I box 2-3 times a week. We don't have that many girls in our classes so I usually join the big boys! They try to outplay me but I don't want to and sometimes after a few combos they lose themselves in the moment and hit harder and harder! After using these babies, I can easily withstand very strong impacts! The pads are very light, I almost don't feel them! And best of all for the girl, it's beautiful! I have a pair of whites that are about 5 months old
