💾 16GB SanDisk Cruzer Glide USB Flash Drive Review

I needed a larger flash drive to update my inbuilt car navigation system which would take many hours to update over the internet. This worked great, and the USB connector springs into the drive's case when not in use to protect it.

It's fast, efficient and reliable, just like SanDisk has always been. I don't usually trust any other brand when it comes to storage hardware. Sure, most will get the job done if it's as simple as a USB stick, but are you paying a few bucks more to ensure your files are well backed up? recommended

These die in 90 days. Sometimes your files get stuck on them, can't be deleted or moved, other times they just can. You must return to Sandisk with your personal files to replace them. No thank you. Don't waste time and money.

Seems to be working as expected. I created a bootable flash drive for Windows 7 64bit Home Premium UBS. Since this is an OS-only release, I also need to make sure I have all the drivers required for my particular computer architecture. Then I will better appreciate both the SanDisk Cruzer Glide USB 16GB Stick and my ability to properly create a bootable Windows 7 stick. I hope my training in "DiscPart" and BootSECT.exe was enough!

I bought a few dozen of these devices to help the tech, ESPECIALLY because the first paragraph of the product description states that there is an LED indicator to monitor activity. I have a 3-4 year old version of the same stick with a nice blue LED.

I buy tons of these because I always give them to people who don't give them back :). I've never had any problems with them so I will continue to buy them.

My second SanDisk drive has a better latch than my first, but it's still a bit difficult to get into the middle slot. Seems fast enough It's not USB 3 but my comp isn't a good secure pack either but I don't need a chainsaw to pull it out would buy again or recommend to others
