Fast UHS II SD card reader!

Tested with a Lexar Professional 1800x UHSII Micro SD card. Very high transfer rate. I use this in my GoPro Hero7Black. Although the GoPro cannot write to EARS when transferring files to a PC. It is transmitted via UHSII and offers a high transmission rate. Ideal for large 4k, 8k, 360° video files that require a fast SD card.

Pros
  • Great Design
Cons
  • Damaged

Pure garbage. for memory card reader

I don't like anything. I've been trying to use this with a Google Pixel 2 XL for 2 months. It just doesn't work. He acts like he doesn't have a good connection. WHEN it finally opens it says there are no items. The camera the card came from says 577. If the photos are ever opened, they won't load or they'll just close completely. It's garbage.

Pros
  • Inspires trust
Cons
  • Almost everything is included

Doesn't work with iPad Pro 2018

Bought for my iPad Pro 2018, I was able to test with SD cards from my camera a few months after purchase, I used a Canon SD card (SDC-32m) and Transcend SD-HC 4GB card for review - they don't work with the iPad. The Sandisk card reader is said to light up when it's reading an SD card when connected to an iPad Pro, and it doesn't like power outages. Tested on iOS 12 and iPad OS. Don't buy it if you plan to use it with an iPad Pro.

Works as advertised. Updated 9/2/19

Arrived quickly; Easy to use; While it works great. Updated 9/2/19: There have been many questions about where this can be used just because it has a USB Type-C connection, which is used on many newer devices. People want to know if they can upload/download Samsung phones. I have an S8 phone that does NOT work with this reader/writer. I use a reader/writer to upload/download files to/from Windows computers and it works well for this purpose. Samsung phones accept Micro SD cards which may allow…

If you need to reset UHS-I/UHS-II cards, this is a MUST!

I have many responsibilities at work, one of which is shooting tons of videos. One problem I've always had is trying to reset SD cards after recording. I used an all-in-one SD card reader that can connect to anything that has all USB types built in, and the data transfer rate was only 13MB/s. If you back up more than 120GB, it will take a lot of time to transfer. Just yesterday I got fed up with this nonsense and clicked on this SanDisk reader after seeing some reviews with screenshots of…

Awards Write-protected, true USB-C

Sandisk SDDR-409 Series SD card adapter does what many adapters fail to do. Firstly, the write protection notch of the SD series cards is taken into account. You'd be surprised how many (seemingly almost all) adapters ignore the write-protect notch, exposing your cards to unwanted writes from operating system components, unscrupulous utility software, and who knows what else. This adapter helps to avoid such oversights. Second, it's _real_ USB-C: the connection is orientation-agnostic. Plug it…

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for support and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Bought because I needed a UHS-II reader for my Sony 300MB/s card. At first I wondered if the Sony card was fake because I got the same 82MB/s write speed and 88MB/s read speed with a Sandisk UHS-II reader as with an Anker UHS-I USB reader that I had. so far. After several attempts to get the same speed, I tried using the ports on the left side of my MacBook Pro 13" TouchBar. This time I got 185MB/s write speed and 236MB/s read speed. Did the test multiple times performed, no problem , speed was
